YouTube video is up! Getting caught up with 2025

YouTube video is up! Getting caught up with 2025

It's safe to say that we are well into the new year now, though it's gone quicker than any other January and February than I can remember! I'm still playing catch-up after a funny ole Christmas/New Year period with illnesses all around me.

Today I have posted my first video of the year, the last one being day 3 of Vlogmas!! Oh, I'm disappointed but it honestly couldn't be helped. If you would like to see the video, just click on the image and it will open a new tab for you.

From videos to small businesses, let me share my plans for Debbie Lukas Designs throughout 2025.

The biggest sale of the year embarking soon.

2025 will hold a huge sale but only once.

Naturally, there will be discounts, special offers and other mini-sales throughout the year but this one in particular will be the widest and largest one I'll have through any given year.

This year it is happening in March. When I have a date, I will announce it. Next year it may be July or September or even May, we don't know yet. The date will depend on many factors each year. This is because we want to ensure that we can have a wide selection and stock to make this sale worth it. Not only does it allow our buyers to stock up, buy gifts and save many, many pounds but it will clear the way for us to bring in new designs, collections and products.

New products not offered before.

New to us products will include handmade totes, dish holders, crocheted items, quilted blankets, and crochet blankets.

Also, we will be introducing sweaters, hoodies and pj trousers. Socks, cushion covers and scrunchies, all handmade in-house.

Last but not least will be bringing keyrings, bag and phone jewellery, book pouches, book pockets, mugs and home accessories.

That's a lot, right? Well, as a small business, we have been pacing our plans so we can gradually offer new and exciting products throughout this year and we can barely contain ourselves!

YouTube.

It's almost been a year since I started a YouTube channel. I didn't really know what I was doing, how I was going to do it or how I was going to learn the skills. It's been a hit-and-miss kind of year but there's been a lot of learning and now I feel clearer about where the channel is going and what I want to grow it into. I hope you will come on over and join in the community I'd like to create.

As well as YouTube, I shall be more active on Social Media, primarily Instagram and in my Facebook group. All my Socials are listed on the website if you'd like to follow me on any of them. Here.

From here on, my videos will be a mix of small business and daily/weekly vlogs. When possible, I shall also create bonus videos, especially when I can create a tutorial video.

This Blog.

This blog hasn't yet come into its own. Our plan this year is to bring a selection of behind-the-scenes in the studio. We will also be bringing exclusive videos only available here. We are all excited to share our processes of creating the products we already make and the new ones on their way. If and when requested we'll also be happy to do Q&A's and share any information with you that will help you create your own items and/or begin your own business venture.

Whilst we are working on bringing many, many new items to the website, we are currently running a 15% sale on all our Valentine's products.

Pictured to the left is our A5 notepad.

You can find it here.

Usual price £8

Sale price £6.80

30 pages of 120gsm paper.

Navigator premium brand.

This is just one available item but I wanted to show you how neat the sale is right now. We're not sure how long it will be on because we are working on getting all our inventory online so we can hold our mega sale. Our Valentine stock is rather low, not only because it's a recent event but because we didn't create a huge amount this year. So if you want to stock up, it'd be wise to grab it soon.
